Outside Employment
Carriers when on or off duty shall not
engage in any business that interferes
with their official duties or that
involves soliciting or canvassing. Neither shall
they engage in business, that, by
reason of their official employment, will give
them advantage over others not in the
Postal Service who are engaged in a
similar business.
Service Changes
Carriers must not circulate or
encourage the circulation of petitions for
changes in the service. Questions
relating to changes in service will be
referred to the unit manager.
Directories and Mailing Lists
Carriers shall not directly or
indirectly cooperate with or assist publishers or
others in obtaining the names and
address or patronage of persons on the
route.
Political Activities
For information regarding political
activity, refer to section 442.311, Postal
Service Manual.
Carriers may expect to be supervised at
all times while in performance of
their daily duties.
